The desulfurization wastewater mainly refers to the discharge water from the absorption tower during the wet flue gas desulfurization process of boilers. The impurities contained in wastewater mainly include suspended solids, supersaturated sulfites, sulfates, and heavy metals, many of which are the pollutants strictly controlled in national environmental standards.
Wastewater treatment often adopts the form of evaporative crystallization. According to the composition of desulfurization wastewater, suitable evaporative crystallization equipment is selected, and double effect, tripletriple effect or four effect evaporative crystallization forms are often used. During the evaporation process, methods such as falling film evaporation, forced evaporation, and natural circulation evaporation are selected based on the salt content.
After removing impurities from the desulfurization mixture, the solution is concentrated through an evaporation system. During the evaporation and concentration process, the discharge concentration and solid content of the evaporation system are controlled to ensure continuous and stable operation of the evaporation system, reduce the number of mechanical cleaning times, and use a vacuum system to lower the discharge temperature of the final effect, which to some extent reduces the heat load of the crystallization system. The concentrated solution is cooled and crystallized in the DTB crystallizer, and the temperature inside the crystallizer is strictly controlled to obtain stable products. Subsequent centrifugation and drying systems can obtain products with higher purity. The continuous operation of the evaporation, crystallization, and drying systems reduces the workload of workers and lowers the operating costs of the system, resulting in lower steam consumption of the evaporation system equipment. The steam consumption ratio of the triple effect evaporation system shall not exceed 0.4.
